Local Businesses Use Seo Tools To Easily Reach Today’s Local Consumers Online

Many local businesses realize that the days of relying on Yellow Pages advertising are nearing an end.  They are now positioning themselves where modern consumers are looking for local products and services.  XLindex.com makes this easy for local businesses who take advantage of the XLindex website submitter SEO tool for local search.

SAN DIEGO, CA -  February 23, 2010 – XLindex, a SEO tool created by BizMash, Inc., helps locally owned and operated businesses to take advantage of all of the new online and mobile resources that help consumers find locally available products and services.

With XLindex.com a local business can add their vital business information to over 100 search engines and local directories by simply completing one simple form.  The XLINDEX website submitter works behind the scenes to update all local search directories with vital information about each local business location.

XLindex.com includes local search submission to Google, Yahoo Local, YellowPages.com, YellowBook.com, and over 100 directories.  “The time you save alone is worth several times our local search submission fee.” said Darin Brin, Managing Director of BizMash Inc. “We are extremely excited about the response we are receiving from all of our clients.”

XLindex.com clients are already seeing results from this local search website submitter. BizMash has been using XLindex.com for the last six months.

It’s important that local businesses start now to get their listings online before the rush of local businesses to get online starts to saturate the directories.  We expect local search marketing to increase by nearly 400% over the next 12 months.” Said Brin.

Many others are making similar predictions based on consumer behavior.

· “Yellow Pages usage among people, say, below 50, will drop to zero — near zero — over the next five years.”  Bill Gates, May 8, 2007.

· 73% of activity online is in one way or another related to local content.” Google, May 2007

· Last year The Kelsey Group reported that 74 percent of Internet users perform local searches.  With the adoption of smart phones with GPS, Maps, and a variety of local search applications, mobile search is also going to increase this trend, according to The Kelsey Group.

Local Businesses looking to use website submission seo tools for local search are encouraged to submit their business now to over 100 local search directories by visiting http://XLindex.com

Business Mashups

May 5th, 2009  |  Published in Business  |  2 Comments

The opportunity was perfect for harvesting a custom-tailored, solutions based development company. My colleague and I both have Internet and project management backgrounds.

With a couple mergers and an acquisition under my belt, I wanted to venture into something new. In the past, the path was clear: pick products; create interest, market products, and then close in on revenue (and in my case, profit). That said, I don’t have room for the concept of being less than 110 percent committed to building the future.

I truly have a passion for creating things from the ground up, from “zero.” I had no funds and no key relationships in this vertical; only the hands I was given.

How does this relate to BizMash? BizMash is the brainchild of two highly motivated people. We’re passionate; we’re people who know “winning.” Every aspect of our organization is geared around finishing first and getting the prize. We’re completely dedicated to our projects.

Not only do we build and design your tool from scratch, we tailor it. There’s kind of an entrepreneurial spirit to that. My partners are that way too. We build your product, test it, modify it according to your specifications, and then we deliver it.  Most development houses don’t offer that kind of full-service attention to detail.

We see the mashup angle as the solution for the future.  We even drink our own proverbial Kool-Aid. BizMash is the proud owner of Howlatetoday.com and Howearlytoday.com, two projects that have evolved from our own way of doing things.

The dot-com bust of the late 1990’s taught us several things. Back then, funding was plentiful, however, solutions were slim. Companies built complex infrastructures that they didn’t need and got in over their heads. Today, the opposite is true: infrastructures and funding are lean and solutions are robust, but they are customized and easily manageable. That reality may not include a beach chair and an umbrella drink, but it will provide the good feeling one gets from having sound technology and a model that really works.
